30A Final Reflection

1. I enjoyed my first semester here at UF. I made a friend because of this class, and we are going to take another class together next semester. This class helped me think outside the box and to find solutions to opportunities. The worst part was forgetting a couple of the cupcakes. I since then set alarms to finish them an hour before they were due. I enjoyed talking to my friends back home about my product and listening to their insight.
2. The most formative experience is that the Gator Nation is full of potential. If I want to succeed I need to tap into the potential I have here in Gainesville. I will always remember the business concept I have. I actually was talking to someone about it last night at dinner. I am proud of sticking through this class. At times I would not want to finish assignments, but I powered through.
3. I believe I have a better mindset now because of this class. When I am going about town I am always thinking of ways that could make processes faster. Whether it be how the line is formed at Midnight Cookies, or the way the traffic light pattern works on Archer and 34th Street.
4. I recommend if you are actually thinking about a business idea take this course seriously. Take this opportunity to find out if it actually has chance in the real world.

Thank you for this class, and thank you guys for your input throughout this class. Good luck with the rest of your classes. Next semester I am taking QMB 3250, MAR 3023, and ISM 3004 if anyone is interested with taking the class with someone. :)

  1. Grant, it is so great that you made a friend in this class! That is what the college experience is all about, meeting new people and expanding your horizons. I agree that this course could really develop an idea you may have had in the shower and make it into an actual business concept. People should definitely take this class seriously!

  2. Grant, I am happy to hear that your first semester at UF was one to remember and you enjoyed the semester. Gainesville is a great place with a lot to offer and is a great place to live the true college experience. It is also interesting that you made a friend from an online-heavy course, more power to you! I agree with the advice you gave to future students and I would not be surprised to see myself buying your products in the future. Great Post!
