The Prototypical Customer:
Worship Leaders in contemporary services. They are usually young adult males from the age of 21-28. They are ambitious people who want the experience at church to be great. They tend to be millennials and have a hipster-type style. They love new things, so their car is most likely new and fuel efficient. They love self-help books. Their favorite book might be the "7 Habits of Highly Effective People."
Commonalities:
I tend to have a lot of commonalities because I love trying new things that will help me be a better worship leader. If there is anything that will make my job more manageable on a Sunday morning and does not distract members in the audience, I use it. We all are trying to make a positive experience but most importantly trying to spread the Gospel. These glasses will help people like me share the good news.

Like I have said in the past, I am definitely somebody that would fall under your prototypical customer umbrella. I have had many similar experiences as you have when it comes to playing music or singing at church so I understand why your product is a need. I also got to say, if your avatar enjoys self help books, I recommend 12 Rule for Life by Jordan B. Peterson!
ReplyDeleteHey Grant! I think you did an awesome job creating your customer avatar for this assignment! I think you did a greta job designing and explaining the attributes and characteristics of your customers. You were very specific, which is great but I think you may also be able to expand your customer base to have a bigger market. I think it is awesome you have so many similarities to your ideal customer, so you will be able to build a business in order to fill a need. Overall, great job!
