16A What's Your Secret Sauce?

I believe my dedication sets me apart from others. I value my time substantially, but also care about the well-being of others. I like to see positive changes in the world around me, and I try to help foster that. When I notice that a friend is down, I try to lift them back up. When there is something that I am passionate about, I spend as much time with it as possible.

I talked to five of my friends who know me the most. I spoke to them on the phone, so I was unable to record. I have them all text me a summary of what they said and took screenshots on my computer.

Conclusions:
I believe that my assessment is pretty on target, and I actually might think less of myself than others think. It was nice, but I did not like doing this assignment since it was basically asking others what makes me good. The difference I mainly see is with the last screenshot. I am introverted, so I tend to stay in my comfort zone. I am an open-minded person though.

  1. Hey Grant! I really identified with the first text message. They mentioned that you are steadfast in your beliefs and it is hard to sway you in any particular direction. I was raised that knowing my identity was a very important aspect of life. This allowed me to keep from succumbing to peer pressure. I’d be lying if I said that growing up in church did not create a very stable foundation for me as well. I think we definitely have that in common.

  2. Hey Grant! I think you did an awesome job on this assignment and really went about it in an ingenious way. I like how you screenshot the text messages; it really shows you know how to solve any problem. I think that all of the people you interviewed think really highly of you and think that you are super genuine and caring. You seem like you have a lot of positive human capital. Awesome job!
