The segment I chose to interview is Worship Pastors. These men are good leaders and would know if the product is going to work in the long run, or if people will catch onto what the glasses are and feel like it is not personal at all. These leaders are all at different points in years of worship ministry.
What I learned:
I found two of the worship leaders would want the glasses, while the last one said he would never wear it. The second person I interviewed actually wants to start this company based on how much he needs these glasses. He is in his first few years leading his worship team and can use all the help me can get. The first person respected it but thinks that it is a little impersonal. He said it would be a problem when members of the church would find out what was really going on. The last person I interviewed respected the idea but flat out said there is not a market for it. The people that I think need them actually know what they need to know. It’s their job to know the information they need to perform.
Describing this segment:
I believe that the market is geared towards the younger worship ministry. It is ultimately something that I will not need, but it is the guiding force that will get me there. It was eye-opening to me to see my market get even tighter than I actually thought it was.
Hey Grant! I think you did an awesome job on this assignment and you really got some great information as a result of your interviews. It's so cool that one of the people you interviewed believes in your idea so much that he actually wants to start it up! I definitely agree that your product would be more successful to a younger market because they enjoy using technology. I do think it could also benefit older generations. Awesome job again!
